Community Tree Planting Program
Is your school or community organisation looking to plant trees and improve ecosystems?
Our Port community wants to help.
The Port of Townsville has committed to planting one million trees by 2050 and is looking for partners to dig in and help by planting native trees, shrubs and grasses on eligible land.
We're committed to supporting not-for-profit organisations and groups who are working hard to provide lasting benefits to our local communities in North Queensland.
Our inaugural Community Tree Planting Program is inviting applications from community partners from across the Port’s hinterland catchments including Townsville, Burdekin, Hinchinbrook, Charters Towers, Flinders, Richmond, McKinlay, Cloncurry and Mount Isa Local Government Areas.
You could receive funding for up to 1,000 plants.
